So the video is about a girl who moves from IRAN to the U.S. to pursue her dream of studying abroad. So in Iran, there are still problems with the government, which is a trending topic in Iran and in the world, at the same time when she moved to the U.S. he learned about the news, about the situation in Iran, why she do that? Because she’s just in case the U.S. (her friend) asked her about the situation in Iran.
Since she is from Iran whose daily language is not English, of course, she is in the U.S. to continue to study English which was 5 hours a week, now 15 hours, she learns from the challenges of playing games that require language that feels like we are taking an English competency test.
There was an incident when he was queuing for food in the school canteen, she was asked a question in which she answered the question using Iranian language, a funny accent, different from the others, she made grammatical errors, her middle eastern features stood out in the crowd, people – people laugh.
She vividly remembers his first Thanksgiving when her friend’s father bought her a box of baklava the closest she could find to Iranian dumplings in Florida it reminded her of her family’s tastes in IRAN he felt at home. She always remembers home and homesickness, plus she always thinks about the words from her mother “when you move a client from one place to another, the roots may be damaged, the soil changes, it takes time before the roots grow strong and then you will see it.”

What I caught was that the speaker agreed that homesickness is normal and everyone can experience it, homesickness only takes time for us to adapt to a new place and get used to the new place, we can miss everything about home and everything in it, but don’t drag on -dissolved in sadness.
