Video Title: How To Practice Self Love

Date: 21 October 2022

  1. What is being discussed in the video? Explain your answer.
-What is self love is Self love is more than just changing your hair, getting a new wardrobe, or attempting to redefine yourself. Self love is obtaining an appreciation for yourself that stems from the physical, emotional, and spiritual support you provide yourself. It’s not a fixed state, but it grows through actions that lead to maturity over time. -How to practice self love 1. Forgive yourself Are you incredibly tough on yourself? Sometimes when you’re struggling for perfection, you end up overlooking the fact that you’re only human. Although you may tell yourself that you’re just holding yourself accountable too much self-deprecation can be harmful to your mental health. Instead, learning to forgive yourself from the mistakes you make and treating them as opportunities to grow, is a step towards practicing self love. 2. Be mindful Are the goals you set for yourself really what you want or are the pushed onto you by society? Being introspective or mindful can give you a sense of clarity into who you are, how you think, and what you want. It aims you with self knowledge that you can use to move forward. Some ways to practice mindfulness, include keeping a journal, meditating, or just taking some time to self reflect. 3. Act on what you need Do you know what gives you energy? What makes you happy? Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed with needing to spend so much time with your friends, but feel bad for wanting to step away. Choosing to go anyways may end up draining your energy and leaving you exhausted. That’s why it’s important to identify the things that make you feel better versus the things that make you feel worse. Knowing what you need and acting on those needs is a form of self love. 4. Set boundaries The purpose of setting boundaries is not to kick peopleout of your life but rather to help you identify what is acceptable or welcomed in your life and what’s not. Healthy boundaries help you filter out things that drain your energy, harm your emotionally, physically, or spiritually. 5. Protect yourself This may mean bringing people into your life who will be supportive and who contribute your emotional, mental, and spiritual health instead of tearing it apart. 6. Live intentionally What makes your eyes light up? What inspires you? Sometimes it’s just easy to just follow a routine in your day to day life. To the point where you stopped giving it much thought. But it’s important to live life with intention and to make choices that help you move towards your goals. For example, if you intend to live a peacefuland healthy life, you need to make choices that support that goal, that may include learning how to medidate, or starting to change your diet for the better 7. Show up yourself Do you scold yourself when you dont finish everything you set out to do? There will be times where you don’t accomplish everything you plan to do. But, acknowledge the effort you’ve given and the amount you have done is important. It’s easy to focus on your fault, but showing yourself kindness and compassion, even in how you talk to youself can help override some of the negative mental patterns you may have and help you feel loved and supported. 8.Practice self care Do you tend to ignore your need sometimes? Taking care of your basics is an act love. Even taking a few minutes out of your day to check in can help you feel a lot better. Whether it’s soaking in a hot bath, eating something healthy or even working out. Practicing self-care can go long way for your metal health and your happiness

Video Title: Watch This If You’re Struggling With Your Self-Worth

Date: 4 November 2022

  1. What is being discussed in the video? Explain your answer.
    1. Your achievements How much your worth is does not depend on your achievements, especially when it comes to competitions, you can’t control your competitors, so you don’t need to blame yourself when things don’t go your way. you are more than just a bullet point list of all of your accomplishments. You are complex person with a personality, hobbies, and somuch more than your achievements.and it all makes you worth it. 2. Your income and job While your job plays a big part in your lifestyle, it does not determine your worth.people who have less money are not lesser than others like society and the media sometimes portrays. your job an income are sometimes the result of your situation.there are so many factors that influence them, like location, the economy, and competition. So they are not really a reflection of who you are. 3. Your childhood Your childhood may shape a lot of things about you, but it does not determine your worth. It’s a phase well and its way out and you must not let it overwhelm you. Your rough childhood does not define who you are. After all, you have no control over who your parents are and you’re not responsible for their choices. It may take some time to accept this, but you past does not define you. 4. Your level of education Much like your income, your level of education is also the result of so many factors. One of the biggest factors when it comes to deciding whether to go college and where is how much money your family has. you can’t change how much money your family has or the location of the schools you wanna go to.therefore, you don’t need to feel bad if you don’t have a higher level of education, it doesn’t en you’re less intelligent or worthless than others than those who do. 5. How other people view and treat you. Do you constantly stress about how others see you? Are u constantly trying to live up to their standards? Other people have no way of knowing who you truly are. While family and friends may have a good idea of it, only you fully know yourself. Knowing this, your self worth isn’t based upon others limited and sometimes biasde opinions of you. You cannot control what othe people think, nor how they act. so , try nit to stress yourself out with other people’s opinions, even if it is difficult. 6. Other people achievements Do you compare your achievements to other people? It’s okay, because everyone does that occasionally. And it’s so easy to look at what you’ve done and compare it to someone else’s achievements. Especially when the internet give you access to look everyone’s amazing lives. It may be hard internalize but what other people do, doesnt define you. You cant control others. So the only thing you can do is try your best. After all, everyone is different with varying skill sets and experiences. So it’s no use comparing two completely unique people. 7. Your appearance Are u unhappy with some physical feature of yours? Is there anything you wish you could change about your appearance? Hihi almost everyone wants what someone else has, which is the sad truth especially living in today’s society, it can be so easy to compare yourself to other people and all the gorgeous models on TV. But try to remember that what u look like doesn’y determine how much you’re worth. 8. Your relationship status Are you still looking for the one? But is seems like everyone you know is getting hitched? Nowadays, theer’s so much pressure to have a significant other and a pictur perfect relationship. But huys, there’s nothing wrong with beng single, it doesnt make you less of a person, because it means you’re taking more time to focus on yourself and what you wanna do. 9. The number of friends you have So guys, having more friends doesnt matter what kind of person you are. If you only have a few it doesnt mean you’re not sociable or kind, but it means you have a specific taste in people, which is not a bad thing. The number of your friends doesnt say anything about your self worth, rather, it’s the quality of your friends that really matters. 10. Your social media status Are youn an avid scroller? With the amount of emphasis on social media, the world seems to revolve around how many likes you get. There’s so much pressure to have a picture perfect aesthetically pleasing life. However your with is not measured by how many people like your posts. Social media is for sharing parts of your life and forming connections with people. so , when getting likes may give you satisfaction it doesnt determine your self-worth. Social media should be fun and uplifting, not a tool to gain validation. You are valid an worthy, regardless of your social media status. 11. Your age Both old and young people are often judged due to their age. People may think all young people are reckless and selfish, while all older people have their whole lives figured out. But your age doesnt control your personalityn, hobbies, likes, dislikes, and stomach more. It’s not reflection of who you are so it doenst determine your worth. 12. Your decision to have children There’s a lot of societal pressure to have children, in order to contribure to society. But ahving children is completely your own decision. Not aving children doesnt make you less worthy than others who do, because i’s a major decision that affects yu most of all. So it should be up to you. Not anyone or anything else, whether it be money, family, or friends. It may be hard but just try to remember that you’re more than anysingle aspect.
