The video was used to answer one of the audience’s comments who asked about the causes of mood swings in BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) sufferers, which sometimes just came in. Then, Dr. Tracey explained that the cause must be consciously or unconsciously. The first one is high sensitivity to feelings of abandonment and rejection. This point of view must be changed because it could be only our overthinking. For example, we have a friend who just went out to eat with another friend without asking us. That makes us think extremely far to the point that we have no one. We have to change the point of view to when the person eats at the restaurant, he still thinking about us, whether will I like the restaurant or not. Next is, loneliness which makes us bored and frustrated. Those feeling make us experience depersonalization (losing ourselves) and derealization (feelings of being abandoned by the world around us).
