    The video is discussed about what is statelessness. In the video said that stateless people are people who don’t have nationality of any country. It is also explained that stateless people may not get ID card, passport, or any other proof nationality doing. They also may not be able to travel to another countries to see a doctor, to find a place to live, even to get married, and the worst thing is many of stateless people are the victim from abuses and violence.

    The speaker want to share some information about statelessness. She explained about the meaning and also the bad effects of not being stateless.

    I think this video is trustworthy because the video is from UNHCR’s youtube channel. It is a global organization dedicated to saving lives and protecting the rights of refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.

    The speaker seem to agree with the topic. She agree that statelessness is a big problem.

    Because this video is from UNHCR, they have discussed and report so many cases about refugee news, people who were expelled from their country, and others. So, I think they know what’s going on out there that not many people know about. And they also work to protect and uphold the rights of refugees and stateless people, so I think their argument is quite strong.

    in the video contains the story of a man who has no citizenship or stateless who lives in Malaysia. He became stateless because his parents did not have a marriage certificate and his mother was a foreigner. He also tells about how difficult it is to live stateless in Malaysia. He finds it difficult to get a job because he does not have an identity card and a bank account. He was also bullied when he was in school.

    the purpose of the video is that the boy wants to share a story about what it’s like to be stateless. He also hopes that the Malaysian government can handle this case.

    There are two important instruments of international law regarding statelessness that you need to know about were established in international law after the Second World War. The first is the 1954 convention relating to the status of stateless persons defines who stateless persons are and the minimum set of rights granted to them . And the second is The 1961 Convention on reducing statelessness is to ensure that states take steps to reduce and prevent statelessness. One such measure is to ensure that all previously stateless children acquire citizenship and that people do not lose their citizenship in the future.

So, I believe they are aware of what is going on in the world that few others are aware of. They also fight to safeguard and promote the rights of refugees and stateless individuals, thus I believe they have a compelling case.

    the video is talking about Syrian refugees that forced into statelessness. One in every five persons in Lebanon is now a Syrian refugee. Around five years ago, the country closed its borders, and the government has become more restrictive in giving resident permits. Hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees have been forced to flee their homes, unable to travel or work as a result. Children born to undocumented parents are at risk of becoming stateless.

This article explains about Rohingya Muslims who are stateless because their country doesn’t want to recognize them and rejects them. they are indirectly forced into statelessness. Roundtable is a discussion program where guests debate the news (wikipedia). and i think the speakers are trustworthy because they are people who are experts and quite experienced in their fields

    The tone used by the speaker is serious. there are some parts that show disagreement, such as when they discussed the #IBelong campaign, because according to one of the speakers it was quite a difficult thing to do.

    the speaker provided information about how it feels to be statelessness and how difficult it is to get citizenship. He also hopes that countries out there can make it easier for statelessness to get citizenship and also eliminate gender discrimination which is one of the causes of statelessness.

Maha Mamo is a former Statelessness, Brazil motivational speaker and human rights Activism, born in Lebanon to Syrians parents, who couldn’t get any citizenship due to her parent’s Religion, by restrictions stated in Syria and Lebanon nationality laws. (wikipedia). I think the source and the speaker are quite reliable because the speaker experienced these things when he was a child and he also included several photos during his speech as evidence
