Fruits vs. Veggies


Teaching young learners always needs to be various and creative. In this session, the time allocation for teaching learning activity is 40 minutes up to 60 minutes. The teaching objective is to make young learners able to differentiate between fruits and vegetables. Your students will learn about some structures, for example “What fruits do you like (to eat)?”, “What vegetable do you like (to eat)?”, “I like…..”, “I like them very much!”. The students will also learn new vocabulary; sweet potatoes, carrots, lettuces, tomatoes, cucumber, oranges, apples, bananas, eggplant, yummy, yuk, healthy. You will need to prepare appropriate teaching media for the lesson. What you need to prepare are printed flashcards, color lots and match up worksheet, song about fruits and veggies, crayon, plates, hand towel, hand sanitizer, and so on. You will found the teaching media and all of you need in order to teach your students by read the attached teaching scenario. The poster will gives you brief explanation about the teaching activities. You can also do some adjustment to the activity based on your students needs and the classroom situation.
