Children are the active explorer, they are curious about everything. However, the children sometimes are difficult to generate information about what they do or what they found outside. When exploring the world, children find so many new things, but they don’t really understand yet all of the aspects they did, such as the information about senses.
Humans have five senses, and we always use them for living, but children still need more information about what human senses are, what organ is used to sense, etc. As a substitute teacher in a kindergarten classroom, the teacher can generate interest and excitement by encouraging students to use their five senses to explore the world around them. On the other side, encouraging students to use their five senses to explore the world around them is a great activity, they would definitely enjoy the activities and the teacher can introduce the function of human senses to the student.
